From the interpretive exhibits and animal enclosures that are highly themed and awe-inspiring, to the wide variety of graphics and interactive stations that actively engage people of all ages, there's no shortage of education and fun. The core message focuses on the arctic habitat, providing guests with ways to improve energy consumption in an effort to mitigate global climate change.
The primary exhibit space is located in a renovated church. As part of DDI’s scope of work, we were responsible for accurately assessing the existing space, making recommendations on usage options, and ultimately designing, fabricating, and integrating new thematic exhibits into the space that would transform it into an immersive and interactive environment full of education and fun.
The Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) awarded the Polar Frontier exhibit with its highest honor of “Exhibit of the Year.”
